Here is your Day 16 prayer journal prompt. I pray you’re enjoying your journaling journey and having a ton of revelations from it. God is so good!
Just as an FYI, the prompts for Days 15-21 will be simpler posts because I’m a week to rest, rejuvenate, and focus on God and family. It would be hypocritical if I didn’t take time to refill my cup, too!
Have a blessed, restful week!
Read the verse, below. Really turn it over in your mind and it and let its meaning steep into your soul. When you’re ready, write the following as a prayer:
Philippians 1:9-11 (NLT) – 9 I pray that your love will overflow more and more, and that you will keep on growing in knowledge and understanding. 10 For I want you to understand what really matters, so that you may live pure and blameless lives until the day of Christ’s return. 11 May you always be filled with the fruit of your salvation—the righteous character produced in your life by Jesus Christ—for this will bring much glory and praise to God.
- What does it mean for your love to overflow?
- How does God’s love overflow to you?
- How does (or can) your love overflow to other people? Write one thing you will do to show someone love today.
- Tell God three things you’re grateful for from the last 24 hours. Remember, no repeats from previous entries!
If this is your first time here, or it’s your first time prayer journaling and you want more journal prompts, start with Day 1. It explains the whole concept. If you like, you can click the left button on the post carousel, below, to get the rest of the prompts in chronological order and the full healing experience.
No pressure though! If you’re crunched on time, you can treat them like a buffet and only journal on the ones that inspire you or tug at your spirit. This is your journey, I’m thrilled that this little blog is a part of it!
