The God of the Universe is Always With You

We’ve done a lot of in-depth journaling over the last 35 days. Today is a free day. Bust out a journal and pray for everything that is on your heart. Lift up prayers for other people and for your own life. Give God your praises, worries, hopes, fears, peace-creating, and anxiety-provoking situations. Whatever it is, whatever you need, use today to give it to the Lord. You are not alone. Jesus is with you, walking beside you. He is for you, always and in all ways.

Overflowing Jesus Journal: Day 36

Read the following verses and let them sink into your heart. God is your champion and redeemer!

Isaiah 43:1-3  But now thus says the LORD, he who created you, O Jacob,  he who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you;  I have called you by name, you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;  and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you. For I am the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.

Isaiah 40:31 NIV – But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

When you’re ready, write prayers that lift it all up to him. Pour your heart out on the page. Give it to God!

  • Pour your heart out.
  • Thank God for three blessings from the last 24 hours. Remember, no repeats from previous entries!

Thanks for joining me! If this is your first time here, or it’s your first experience prayer journaling and you can’t wait to get more journal prompts, AWESOME! We’re doing a total of 40 days of prayer journal prompts. Just start with Day 1, which explains the whole concept.

If you like, you can do the posts after the Day 1 post, in chronological order, to get the full healing experience. At the bottom of the day one post, you’ll see “Next Post” with a link to the next blog. Just follow those!

No pressure though! If you’re crunched on time, you can treat them like a buffet and only write on the ones that inspire you or tug at your spirit. Let the Lord guide you through your process. This is your journey and I’m thrilled that this little blog is a part of it!
